Hi, friends! Ah! It’s been a little while since I’ve hopped on here. The end of summer/beginning of fall has been busy! My husband and I just came home from our anniversary trip, which was AMAZING. We have now been married for SIX years! That is absolutely crazy to think. I remember writing a post about getting engaged like it was yesterday.
This year we decided to get an Airbnb in Central Lake, which was so wonderful. We kayaked, shopped, and enjoyed nature. It could not have been any better! I wanted to share some pictures and videos I snapped during the trip. I brought my Nikon camera and was able to get some really nice shots.
A chipmunk came to say hello on our deck! He was so very cute. In the guest book, somebody said that when they were enjoying their morning coffee on the deck, a bobcat came to say hello! Admittedly, I am glad that did not happen to me! A cute little chipmunk was much preferred. Our view from the driveway! Really made us want a house in the woods. We were struck at how QUIET things were. We live in a small town that is more quiet than loud, but this was something else entirely. I loved loved loved it. Our Airbnb had a canoe/kayaks available! This was so fun to be able to do, it had been far too long since we had been able to be on the water. I could have spent all day doing this.Oh, hi, little friend! (Or not so little!!!)Where we kayaked!
