Spring Finds

Hello, friends! It’s been AGES since I’ve hopped on here to write a blog post. In today’s post I wanted to share some cute things I’ve found online lately that I think would be perfect for springtime.

Lilly Pulitzer Tiered Midi Dress

This dress is SO cute. It would be such an amazing dress for Easter or any other spring activities. It would also pair well with a jean jacket or cardigan, which is great for this time of year, because spring weather is generally so unpredictable. I have learned that midi dress are NOT flattering on my long torso/short legs frame, but I still fawn over every single one that I see!

Altar’d State Eliza Dress

I know absolutely NOTHING about the brand Altar’d State, but I saw this dress and thought it was so darling. It also comes in so many different shades of blue, which makes it so much easier to find one that’s a flattering color. Side note: I’ve fallen down a rabbit hole on Instagram of people showing before and after pictures of when they learn their color season. It’s crazy how big of a difference it makes!

Universal Thread Women’s Puff Short Sleeve Dress

This one also comes in SO many colors, but the purple [I wonder if it looks more purple in person, because it looks like pink to me!] one is definitely my favorite. I love the slightly puffy sleeves and with the defined waist. It looks like it would be so comfortable AND flattering. Hard to go wrong with a Target find!

L.L Bean Women’s Meridian Rain Coat

As much as I adore dresses, perhaps one of the more practical items on this list, is this rain coat! I don’t currently own a raincoat, so I’ve been kind of looking around for one, and I’ve always loved L.L Bean because they make high quality clothing that lasts for years. And this pink color — to die for!

Kate Spade Medley Reversible Bucket Hat

I don’t know that I have ever worn a bucket hat in my life, or if I’ve ever had the desire to wear one, but this one is so dang cute. And it’s reversible as well. I think it would look adorable with some overalls and a little white t-shirt underneath. It would be such a great way to add a little spring flair to any outfit.

Draper James Georgia Espadrilles in Green Awning Stripe

These shoes are SO adorable. I think they would be perfect with so many different types of outfits, especially as a pop of color with a more neutral color palette. I also love that they’re a dressier shoe, but they still look like they’d be infinitely more comfortable than a heel.

Hunter Women’s Play Short Speckle Rain Boots

Again, one of the more practical spring items on this list. And the color! I have never seen a cuter pair of rain boots. If pink isn’t your thing, they also come in two other colors that are more neutral.

Tuckernuck Exclusive Blue Packable Wide Bow Sunhat

This hat comes in various colors but the blue ribbon is my absolute favorite. It reminds me of what one would wear in a historical drama on a stroll through the countryside or even a tea party. It’s definitely dressier than something I would probably wear in my day-to-day life, but I thought it was too cute to leave off this list.

Anthropologie Green Daisy Crochet Mini Tote

Though this bag is not practical whatsoever, it is SO unbelievably adorable. I can’t think of a single instance where one would NEED something like this, but how beautiful is it to look at? If one was a crocheter, I’m sure they’d be able to recreate something similar!

BaubleBar Zest Earrings

I don’t generally wear much jewelry, but there’s just something about a statement earring that I love. And these ones are so happy! And absolutely perfect for springtime.

Anthropologie Strawberry Rancher Hat

Now this straw hat is perhaps a bit more practical than the one from Tuckernuck — ha! I think it’s so adorable and would be the absolute perfect one to wear whilst gardening. The strawberries are just too cute of a detail!

And that’s that, my friends! Let’s cross our fingers that these April showers will end and that we get some May flowers!

XOXO,

Mattie Mae
