Hello, friends! Back with another book review. Let me start by saying this book was SO good.
What Alice Forgot follows Alice Love, a 29 year old woman pregnant for the first time, but wait… is she? After a fall at the gym, Alice is told that she is not pregnant, nor is she 29 years old. She’s a 39 year old mother to three, going through a harsh divorce. Alice is then tasked with getting the past ten years of memories back.
I give this a 5/5 stars. There was a point towards the end where I was mentally saying “Nooooo!” at the direction things were going, but quickly, I was over-the-moon with the direction things were going.
I love how Moriarty writes relationships, be them romantic, familial, or friendships. She shows the importance of human connection and the complexities of maintaining them. Whenever I read her books, I am reminded at how important it is to cherish those close to us and really do all that we can to create a community of loved ones.
I would recommend this book 100%! Please tell me if you’ve read it!
Xoxo,
Mattie Mae
