Hello, friends! In today’s post I wanted to talk about the brand, Ethique. And no, this is not sponsored. Ha!
I’ve been on a journey to reduce my plastic consumption for awhile, and I finally made the switch to bar shampoo! I used up all the assorted shampoo that I had accumulated over the years, and made my purchase.
The first item that I bought was Ethique’s Tone it Down Purple Shampoo. I was slightly apprehensive about it, as I have very oily hair and was concerned that my hair wouldn’t feel clean after using it. Despite my apprehension, I’ve found this shampoo to be effective in cleaning my hair properly. It has a nice smell that is not too overpowering.
The second item that I purchased was Ethique’s White In-Shower Container. I bought this piece because I was worried that the purple shampoo would not be able to dry properly if it was just resting on the shower shelf. I also chose to buy this because I was concerned the shampoo would stain the shower, as the color is quite intense. There are plenty of colors that one can choose, sure to match any bathroom’s color scheme.
The last item, that was actually not purchased, but was a freebie, is Ethique’s Too Delicious Conditioner. I haven’t tried this one just yet, as I am still working on finishing up my last conditioner bottle, but I will report back on that when I do!

Before I say goodbye, I want to remind y’all that the most sustainable thing is always to use what we already own. It can be tempting to rush out to buy the newest sustainable item, but the most sustainable item is always the item that you already own!
