Hello, again! Long time, no talk. As I’ve said before, I’m in college and things get BUSY. I’ve missed blogging though, so I thought I’d hop on and do a little one.
It’s mid-October and I’m already starting to get sad about the end of fall. Does anybody else do that? Halloween hasn’t even happened and I already feel like it’s over with! My mind is starting to get excited for Christmas… I’m one of those people that gets excited for Halloween in July and for Christmas in October. I’m ready for Christmas music! Even snow! (I know I’ll regret saying that in a month or two — haha)
I feel so behind because I haven’t even decorated my apartment for fall yet! I’ve bought all that I need to decorate it, but I just haven’t gotten around to decorating. When I do, I’ll be sure to post pictures.
One of my favorite things in the world is coffee and I’ve made the transition from summer iced coffee to fall hot coffee. I know there’s a huge debate about which is better, but for me, it just depends on what the weather is. I have a Keurig which makes coffee such a quick and easy thing to do, especially when you’re running out the door to class. Also, Keurigs look so dang cute on your counter!
My favorite coffee right now is french vanilla. It doesn’t really matter what brand it is, I usually just get what’s cheapest. Then, I use a caramel almond milk creamer. And oh my goodness, is it tasty. I usually have at least two cups a day. I gave up drinking coffee for a couple months in the summertime, but now that school is back in session…
Speaking of coffee, I’ve been LOVING going to coffee shops lately. To be fair, I’ve always loved going to coffee shops, but coffee shops when it’s cold out are just something extra special. There’s this new coffee shop near my apartment that I went to for the first time over the weekend. My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere to have a yummy Sunday breakfast and we sure did find one! I had a salted caramal latte and a croissant. It was so tasty and it hit the spot, especially on such a cold day. My boyfriend, who isn’t much for coffee, got a hot chocolate with waffles that had the most delicious whipped cream on them and green apple slices. Of course I had to steal a bite! Or maybe I stole two…
