Hello, friends! Happy (belated) 2026! I spent NYE watching the finale of Stranger Things, reflecting on my favorite moments of 2025, and writing my intentions for 2026. I hope to be more present on the blog this year, I want to try scheduling myself time on each Wednesday to do some writing, be it on the blog or other writing endeavors. One of my intentions for the year is to submit to a writing competition, and setting aside time for creativity is important for me to do. I’ve been trying to do more crafts and art projects lately, and I’ve been enjoying it immensely. I hope to share some of my creations on here to show that even if we’re not connoisseurs at something, it doesn’t mean that we can’t be proud of our creations and enjoy the process all the same.
2025 was a year for growth. We sold our home and moved cities, which we had been wanting to do for years. We are now having so much fun creating a new home and finding new hobbies and routines. And it’s wonderful! It’s scary to make big changes in your life, but it sure can be worth it.
