Hello, friends! The other week I made this blueberry crisp for our weekly treat and it was AMAZING. It would surely be best with a cup of french vanilla ice cream, but if you don’t have any, a cup of milk is almost as satisfying. I’ve made a similar thing years ago, but I cannot remember if it was this same recipe or not. It turned out great, regardless.

Upon looking for the recipe… I found that they’re called “Blueberry crumble bars“. I’ve always called this sort of a thing a “crisp”. Is there a difference between the two?
I make the crisp/crumble bar in this Youtube short! My husband and I ate it while watching the new(ish) movie, Heretic. It was a good movie! I gave it a 3/5 on Letterboxd. I thought it was very intriguing, definitely one that you think about after it’s finished. I don’t want to give any spoilers, which makes it very difficult to talk about. It posits the question of, “What is true faith?”. It’s definitely a creepy movie, but it’s nothing too terrifying. This is coming from my experience as a person who likes horror movies but is also a fraidy-cat. More Hugh Grant in horror, please!
XOXO,
Mattie Mae
